The beloved high street store Toys R Us will be making a return to the high street in Newark, and just in time for Christmas. The toy retailer will open concessions within WHSmith stores in 37 new locations across the UK.

WHSmith disclosed initial Toys R Us roll-out plans earlier this year, and will now launch three every week between the end of September and Christmas. Toys R Us shut its UK stores in 2018 after collapsing into administration but returned in June last year when WHSmith opened the first shop-in-shop in its York Monks Cross branch.

Toys R Us is making a major return to the UK and will open 37 new locations ahead of the holiday season. 37 locations will open within WHSmith stores every week between September 28 and Christmas.

Toys 'R' Us is set to make a return in Southampton and Fareham. The iconic toy brand is set to open stores inside two WHSmith shops in Hampshire between September 28 and Christmas.
