Dec 24, 2021 · The only issue I have had that was the map was not updated straight away and the Tesla Map show me driving in UK instead of France. This was not good because the car wasn't recognised anything and beeping all the time. Hopefully I have used my Google map during that time and disable the sound, It took 24 hours for Tesla to sort out that issue.

Feb 6, 2020 · Okay - upon further research it seems charging a US Tesla in Europe is not as simple as i'd assumed. European Superchargers use two types of plugs (CCS type 2 and IEC 62196 I think), but neither of them are the US style Tesla plug. I found an adapter for sale by a third party that supposedly allows a US vechicle to utlize the IEC 62196 - NEW!

Jan 15, 2020 · The Tesla CHAdeMO adapter is the fastest fully supported way to charge a North American Tesla in Europe. There are third party Supercharger adapters available from Eastern Europe. I have no idea how reliable they are. You will also want to buy a Type-2 to Type-1 cable for public charging stations.
