I wonder if there is a possibility to make a TAS file run a super mario 64 with mods enabled. For example with sm64excoop there are some mods. Can I somehow run a TAS run with a modded version of SM64?

If using a controller, an alternative is to run the game through Steam and rebind the controls using SteamInput. It's a lot more straightforward.
Super Mario 64 Plus makes the game feel like it came out TODAY
Extract the downloaded file and run the installer, follow the installer's instructions then launch SM64 Plus. Once opening, it will ask you to download and install MSYS2, do it. Once you done that, you can continue and it will ask you to give it your ROM, do that.

Dec 26, 2020 · Sm64 is definitely worth playing. The controls and camera are pretty clunky, but it's only a minor annoyance for casual play once you get used to it. Beating the game isn't too difficult, as there are plenty of stars to choose from to get to the 70 required. SM64 is a classic that I still return to every so often.
