Jun 20, 2021 · A number of websites I've seen claim the partition coefficient can be approximated to the ratio of caffeine solubility in the organic solvent to that in water, but I can't find any sources backing these claims up. Any help finding this date, or studies/document relating to caffeine partition coefficients would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dec 6, 2013 · Water is the only liquid that is safe to take for a large quantity. Glycol is moderately toxic. The safest liquid besides water is likely alcohol, but you do not want to take it with caffeine. It probably goes without saying, but please be cautious when ingesting anything that you've created in a lab. Thanks for the tip with glycol.
