Both those things are going to come back down to earth at some point, even if they remain strengths (career 40% from floaters and 37% from 3). His passing game is elite no matter what.

Nobody saw it coming because he's been injured almost the full season in the past 2 seasons. Even fans in Charlotte feel so traumatized by his missed time that his play currently doesn't register.

He's such a tough cover because he plays the NBA like it's a pickup game lol. And that's not an insult in his case. Most players set their feet and square their bodies before taking shots.

While I think he already has a better vision and passing. Luka is consistent at shooting like garbage from 3 and cant play defense. Top. Braggins.

But comparing prime Russell Westbrook to current LaMelo wouldn't be an honest assessment. 2015-2016 Russ had a .245 ws//48 and a 7.8 BPM in 2015-2016 while averaging more points, rebounds and assists on better relative efficiency than LaMelo Ball. He had a 9.1 BPM during the playoffs.
