For over one hundred years archaeologists believed a magnificent tenth century grave in Birka Sweden housed the remains of a legendary Viking warlord. The burial discovered in 1877 contained a sword, axe, spears, arrows, a shield and remains of two horses, symbols of an elite warrior. In the 1970s bone analysis suggested the remains were female and in 2017 DNA results confirmed the skeleton had two X chromosomes. Further research showed she was a nonlocal warrior leader who died in her thirties,

Before setting a Burial Vault, a vault man may enter the grave to place mounds or a cross in the bottom.
